Volbeat Tour

Anyone else popping along to one of these gigs in early December?

I was undecided about going until I just saw that Black Spiders are supporting them. That now makes that a must see gig.

Oxford on 7th December for me now :)

Black Spiders are great, and I haven't seem Volbeat yet so I'll be going to the London one.

I'm going to the Nottingham Rescue Rooms gig
I'm not sure how that will suit them given the audiences they normally get.

I'll take this moment to say that two thirds of their new album is unfathomably good!

Some of the best tracks I've heard in a bloody long time, words cannot describe how much I love "Heaven nor Hell" with it's mouth organ/harmonica. The guitar in "A Better Believer" and the guest spots on "7 shots" (some guitar and vocals) are unbelievably good.

Unfortunately I can't see HnH or 7s being played on the tour because of the necessity for guest involvement.

Still, everyone should buy their latest album "Beyond Hell / Above Heaven" if they have any interest in big singalong heavy rock songs!

I would've been at the Glasgow date, but I found out that War Of The Worlds is the same night & I've spent a large amount of moola on those tickets. SAKE. Might travel for a show, nae decided yet.
