General music banter. Gigs, reviews, new bands...

The subject header says it all really. Same venue as Ginger's birthday gig (albeit in the smaller room upstairs), the night before. Very glad I hadn't booked my train tickets yet, and now sorting an extra hotel night.

And as O2 venues go, this one's actually not bad.

Be rude not to do both, wouldn't it? :D

HOT TIP: Premier Inn sale. I'm staying in the new Stratford Olympic Village one for £19 after this gig. Get it while it's hot!

A number of things that have happened over the past couple of weeks (I'll spare you the details) led to me thinking I might be missing this (as well as the two weekend Ginger gigs in London) but for now, this is definitely ON for me again. Who's coming?

I've stuck a setlist on Setlist.fm http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/jackdaw4/ ... 113b3.html

I didn't know the song close to the encore that had 'been on TV' (and wasn't Anyway) - I picked up lyrics on the lines of 'Better than this' and 'another man down' but didn't recognise it,

What a gig that was - all three acts were great. Jackdaw4's set ended with a cover of Honeycrack's "Animals", which included Ginger, Givvi Flynn and Chris Catalyst all sneaking up onto the stage.
