also the good ones in the world do the channel bop apparently.
Isn't it ironic that not many people know the meaning of the word esoteric?

Think it's to do with planning nights out and people ruining them by becoming too drunk and aggresive.

Always thought it was like, the shiver yeh get down your spine after a rather lengthy evacuation of the bladder... Wondered why it never made sense.

I thought I once saw Ginger say that it was about people with negative attitudes who try to pull others down to the murky depths of their own emotional level. I think it was in a little sidebar in Metal Hammer's (8/10 !) review of Endless Nameless. Maybe.

Incidentally, I could never really get on with this song, somehow. Although I can really enjoy a lot of Endless Nameless, I always thought that the especially rough glum growling of the production drove the energy and potential pop joy of this song into the ground. I'd love to hear it cleaned up a bit, though. Lots of people seem to love it who don't 'get' the rest of the album, though. Hmmm.

I've often confessed in the past that I fell on the "don't get it" side of the fence on Endless Nameless. But I've pretty much loved every other note Ginger has committed to record so that's not bad going.

I've read Ginger's thoughts on the album and how it came about, so I guess the whole fact that I've not been there would help to explain why it doesn't connect with me. Either that or I just didn't get why a master of melody would want to shove a great wall of fuzz on top so that you couldn't hear it!

I too remember reading this quote. I searched thewildhearts.com, thinking it was from an old Ask Ginger, but it doesn't seem to be there, so a magazine quote is a possibility.
