New album?

Postby Keith Richard » 13th Dec 06, 21:13

I've kind of being expecting this, but this is the first time I've actually seen it in black n white. Taken from the Cargo website (yoni page):

"The album features 12 brand new songs ranging from the pop metal masterwork of “Black Windows” to the big band and swing inspired “Can't Drink You Pretty” and the monumental ballad “Save Me”.'Yoni' is produced by Tim Smith (Cardiacs) and Jase Edwards and all songs written by Ginger. A brand new Wildhearts album is currently being recorded and Ginger will be playing solo dates around the release of 'Yoni' at Nottingham Junktion 7 (19/01/07), Blackpool Riffs (20/01/07), Glasgow Barfly (21/01/07) and as well as touring with Wildhearts later in 2007." :D :D :D

Oh happy happy days!
cause the chances are good that it wont let you down, like maybe drinking with Keith, or seeing Dolly Parton's tits...

According to Metal Hammer as one of the side boxes on their Earth Vs feature in the current issue:

"If it all goes to plan we're going to do a Wildhearts album before the end of this year. to come out next summer, on Gut"

Whether or not it gets delayed or whatever, this presumably at least means new material at the gig?

Well, I gather they've got their prime suspect now.

Is anyone else, like, ridiculously excited about Thursday?

I think ridiculously excited is an understatement!

Are there any plans meet-up wise yet? Been a hectic couple of weeks, so I may well have missed them - apologies if so.

For my part, I'm working in Bristol until 3.30, then picking up James T, Will, Tony and Teresa, so I think we're just about going to be there for doors. Which is the plan as I want to see every band and it kicks off at 7.15. Text the name of the pub you end up in, in case we make it in good time, which provided traffic is light might be possible...

To increase my visibility, I guess I had better wear a Clearlake T-shirt!
