Refund

Did anyone get a refund from Infernal ? I know I didn't.

I reckon they owe me £35. Would be interested in anyone's thoughts.

I remember sending a cheque for £5 for the first single but it never came. Can't remember if they took the money off or not...probably did

I ended up getting four of the singles through Changes One. I've forgotten, how many singles did they actually release?

Got 4 myself through changes one

Ginger only did 4 singles, then the record company gave up on it I think, then they relesed it as a double album with a couple of extra songs on

I seem to remember that there were five in total...

I'm A Lover, Not A Fighter
Cars & Vaginas
The Saga Of You & Me
Virtual Love
And This Time I'm Serious.

Probably in the wrong order, but I think that's all that was released. The Break In The Weather album contained all the songs from the above singles and three bonus tracks that would have been on the sixth release.

I really wish they'd release the other singles at some point though. Infernal certainly screwed all the Singles Club people around, but maybe Round could do a better job?! Although I guess that the Singles Club is in the past now and Ginger is concentrating on new things.

Luckilly I got mine from good old Tunny at Changes One and didn't have any of this hassle.

I consider myself really lucky to own 'em all - got 'em from Tunny at C1.

I actually don't own "A Break In The Weather", but I have the 3 non-single tracks on a CDR.

You're right guys, they did release 5 in total. Am I the only fool who sent a cheque
for £60 to cover all 12 releases ?

I didn't pay out to Infernal because I didn't know about it til a couple of years ago. I managed to get hold of all five for a few quid each from record shops around the area. Had 2 copies of Cars And Vaginas at one point.

It started out really well. It was really exciting knowing that each month a new Ginger CD would come through the post.

The first one was on time then with each realease, they got later and later until it became ridiculous. I suppose it was rather ambitious to do 12 (36 songs) in a year.

Wish I'd got my £35 back though.

I started watching them on fleabay and got one of the singles, then it was announced about A break....

I'm not a collector but wanted to hear the material so in a way it saved me a few £££ coz some of the singles were going for a fair amount.

recently ive managed to get all of the singles overall i think ive had a pretty good deal .

im a lover not a fighter - i had this for free as a friend had a spare :D was well chuffed with that

cars & vaginas - about £4.00 from germany got it in under a week

and this time im serious - paid nearly £10 for it a bit of a shitty deal of gemm.com but it was needed i got it yesturday

the saga of me & you and virtual love - both for about £7 together

so overall not to bad id say apart from maybe 'and this time im serious' but had to do it :D

Glad it's not just me. I wonder if it's worth getting hold of Infernal?

Another one ripped off here - I paid the £60 shortly before I discovered Changes One :(

If anyone has any current contact details for anyone involved at Infernal I'd love to get in touch with them. I've tried getting the £35 back in the past but the contact details I have no longer work.
