Tour de-briefing from Exit_International

Postby Scottleeandrews » 19th Dec 11, 17:18

Back from tour. Can safely say on behalf of EXIT INTERNATIONAL that the Ginger & Friends / Hawk Eyes tour collective we spent the past two weeks with are the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. We all had so much fun that it should have come with a health warning.

Massive love to Ginger, Rich, Random Jon Poole, Chris, Victoria and Denzil for slaying every single night and making us feel so welcome.

To our new buddies/brothers in the Hawk Eyes team - Paul, Rob, Ryan, Matt and the incredible Giles Sirius Hartman Stocks for taking the reigns of sound for the last few dates. Thank you so much.

Then the crew - Hot Steve, Chris, and a special thanks to Dunc for allowing us to crash at his place more often than we should have. Thanks you so much guys.

Finally to Gav McGaughey - The man who kept the ball rolling under times of insane/surreal circumstances. You da' man.

Finally - To Fudge Wilson and Adam Thomas for being absolute heroes of noise.

........and Junko Evilton, for being the most quotable person I've ever met.

Thank you all - Have an awesome Xmas. Cheers to everyone else who put us up / put up with us and all the fans who came to the shows early to check us out and got us home.

Please pass my thanks and love to anyone I may have left out....mind is fucking blown.

Hopefully see you all again soon - It's been a goosepimple-inducing chance of a lifetime for me, and I cannot believe how better it turned out. Fucking unbelievable.

All the listies who i spoke to - I salute you all!

I'm watching back those videos and STILL cannot take it all in.

:)

Scott & Exit_International.

Col,

Just read your blog. So you were the shouty bloke just behind us in the queue who performed the miracle. Moses - Red Sea - Bollocks. Col - Academy doors - genius.

I've said elsewhere on this forum how brilliant I though Exit_International were and having listened to Black Junk more times than is healthy over the last week I can genuinely say it was money very well spent.

Moses - Red Sea - Bollocks. Col - Academy doors - genius.

I like that, may use it as my signature :D
Yep it was me, I have a canny gob on me when I've had a few and I had a few that day!!!! Got a few good shouts in at the show aswell.
Hopefully people take it for what it is, a bit of innocent pissed fun.
I started doing the blogs because so many surreal things happen when we are out, dunno if I just instigate them tho 8-)

This is going to sound like faint praise, but it's not. You know that thing where a band makes a style of music that you're not normally into, but they're so good that you're won over regardless? Well, that. I'm going to order Black Junk as well.
